We are over the moon to be Finalists in the Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
We were recently nominated for the New Business Awards following our launch as a limited company in 2019. Last week we found out that we have been selected as a finalist.
Here are the criteria:
This category will be given to a business started since 20th May 2017 and can evidence outstanding performance and future projections. Nominees must be able to demonstrate how their business has progressed in line with their business plan. Success will be proven by the business having a clear understanding of its products, competitors and the marketplace it serves and the use of sound
business techniques, innovation and entrepreneurialism.
The key areas the judges will be considering are:
- How has Redway HR performed against your business plan?
- What sets Redway HR apart from their competitors?
- What goals do Redway HR have for the next three years?
It has been an amazing journey since Liz Redway started out by herself as a freelance consultant seven years ago. She originally wanted to scrap the daily commute and work flexibly around her two children, and work with small companies where she knew she could make real impact.
Here’s our journey so far:
2013
Liz starts out as a freelance HR consultant supporting her first client; a free school. She builds up a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors including dentistry, education, hospitality and construction.
2016
Liz accepts a permanent role with one of her established clients.
2018
Liz returns to freelance HR consultancy and begins to re establish herself. She creates her first business plan, enlists the help of Iceberg Accounting and begins networking to support the planned growth.
Liz pursues an additional qualification in Executive Coaching and becomes an associate of the Academy of Executive Coaching and joins the International Coaching Federation. Coaching and team development are now services provided to clients.
